More and more parents are going back to school in Escondido! English as a Second Language (ESL) classes have been offered at Escondido Union High School District through its Adult School campus and elementary schools for many years. In order to reach even more parents, this year, morning classes at the five neighborhood elementary schools in the district were added. More than 150 parents are currently participating in the program. After dropping their students off at school, the parents then head to class themselves. By improving their English skills, parents will be in a better position to help their young students succeed in school, too.
